t’s probably not news that Nadunisi Naaygal, directed by Gautam Menon, is a thriller. However, what appears to be new is that, more than half of the movie’s portions have been shot in or around midnight which also means that the title reference is not only metaphorical, but literal as well.
Nadunisi Naaygal will also set a few benchmarks for the genre of thriller movies in Tamil cinema. The significant element of fear-inducing background score usually present in thriller movies will not be present in Nadunisi Naaygal. Gautham has done away with it and the movie also does not have any songs to its credit. Starring Sameera Reddy in a prominent role, it is expected to hit the screens soon.
