Endhiran Music Review!!

The most awaited film of the year, Endhiran's music is out!! The music of Endhiran just is too awesome!! It's very different from the typical Indian music! It's very Techno, and robotic. :D By the way Enthiran means Robot in tamil.

Puthiya Manidha- Its the first song in the album, sung by S.P Balasubramanium,A.R Rahman,Khatijia Rahman. Since it is sung by SPB it has to be the hero,Rajnikanth's title song. It is definitely not the normal folk- title song similar to the years before, its distinctive from the others. It has lyrics that talk about the robot to come to the earth, praising Rajnikanth and this time a robot too. :D The song is hip-hop and techno,A.R uses dance floor type of beats, but in style. He seems to have used effects on the singers voices too, especially when they say "Pudhiya Manidha bhoomiki vaa...". S.P Balasubramanium was great as always,he has been singing Rajini's title songs for the past couple of years with the exception of Kuslean and Baba. A.R Rahman's voice added to the robotic feeling of the song, because it was peppery. :) A.R Rahman's daughter Khatijia Rahman's voice is exceptional! :D She could be the next Shreya Ghoshal, her voice is so sweet!

Kadhal Anukkal-This is the next song in the album, which is sung by Vijay Prakash and Shreya Ghoshal. The song uses the guitar through out the song, yet softly not overdoing it. It gives you a romantic feel, very breezy. The beginning lyrics of the song sound sort of like Enake Ennaka from Jeans. In this song to Rahman doesn't lose his techno,he keeps it in the middle of the song. The lyrics done by Vairamuthu are really romantic and cute, and like mentioned earilier the guitar adds to the mood. Its funny, that in the lyrics they use science words like neutrons, electrons, oxygen, and Newton. Vijay Praskash is really nice in this song, best one after his song in Vinnathaandi Varuvayaa, "Hosaanna".Shreya seems to have used a different tone in the beginning and then got back to her normal high voice, through out. But, she is awesome, gives a nice feel to the song.

Irumbile Oru Idhiyam-Third one in the album sung by A.R. Rahman and Kash n' Krissy. Another Techno and Hip-Hop song in the album. Has a international feel to it. The English lyrics of this song actually make sense so thats good. The other or Tamil part of the lyrics are really sympathetic, they sound pretty convincing to love a robot. LOL :DThey were written by Madan Karki. The english lyrics are funny at times like when the girl sings "You be my mans backup...."! . A.R. Rahman's voice sounds cool in this song,he definitely added effects to this song too. :D Kash'Krissy were awesome their voices are sensational! Their voices sound american, yet they sing the Tamil part perfectly! By the song we can tell, the song is on the Robot and Aishwarya Rai.

Chitti Dance Showcase- This next one in the album is sung by Pradeep Vijay,Pravin Mani,Yogi B. Let me tell you,the song is very, very robotic! :D The song has a part which is similar to A.R Rahman's Liquid Dance from Slumdog Millionare. This song is almost a mix of alot of type of music,:rap,hip-hop,classical,Indian classical dance type, and rock. Its a short song only 2 minutes and 45 seconds. The singers are more like the background singers,Yogi B sounds like the only one who sings actual lyrics in the beginning.

Arima Arima-Fifth one in the album sung four popular singers: Hariharan,Sadhana Sargam,Benny Dayal, and Naresh Iyer. The song sounds majestic throughout. So,this is definitely a song to watch out for in the movie. Mostly drums are used, some electronic guitar and the trumpet and some other instruments. Benny Dayal and Naresh Iyer only sing the chorus part of the song when they praise Rajnikanth? its difficult to tell they might be praising the robot. Hariharan's voice is dominant through out the song, which certainly required for that majestic, royal feel. After Varalaru, Sadhana sings for A.R Rahman in his Tamil composition, which she has done well in. This song sort of gives you a feel of another one of A.R.Rahman's songs Mudhalvane from the movie Mudhalavan. Yet,it has its own identity in a way.

Kilimanjaro-The second to last on the album is sung by Javed Ali and Chinmayee. The whole song sounds tribal, with the weird vocals. :D Here mostly drums are used too,and vocals are used like instruments too. :) The lyrics make the song sound like a romantic, sensual number, lol :D. There is nothing mentioned about Robot or Endhiran, like others, in this song. Javed Ali sings awesomely, his voice has something , I mean he is best in romantic tracks. :) Chinmayee is just ROCKING! :D Her voice is like poison but in a good way,her voice just gets stuck in your head. :D Overall, this is a tribal song, with no Techno or Hip-Hop like the other six songs.

Boom Boom Robo Da- This is the last one in the album of Enthiran,it's sung by Yogi B, Keerthi Sagathia, Swetha Mohan, Tanvi Shah. The song starts out in jazz style, then goes to techno and robot beats. Mostly the song is Techno like most of the album. :) But there are a mix of beats in this song, you will totally notice it when you listen to it. This song sounds like its picturized on Ash and the Robot,Chitti. :) Again, there are Robot sounding effects to the voice of Yogi B to sound robotic, which sounds cool when he says "Boom Boom Robo Da!". :D All the singers are incredible! Swetha Mohan's voice sounds adorable when she says "Chitti Chitti Robo hey Chutti Chutti Robo.....!". Tanvi does a jazzy background vocal, which sounds foreign but nice. Keerthi has a nice, contrary voice. Its the first time I have heard her voice, apart from her song in the Telugu version of Raavanan-Villian. This song is definitely cool to listen to.

Rating and My Picks- I would give this album a 5/5 because the tunes rocked! All the songs were superb! But,my picks are Arima Arima,Kilimanjaro,Irumbile Oru Idhiyam,Kadhal Anukkal, and Boom Boom Robo Da.

To Sum this review up, all the tracks in the movie are foot tapping, danceable numbers. The music added to the expectations of the movie, since it was so excellent! From the music it is evident that the movie is going to be ROCKING!!! :D Just can't wait until this MEGA Project releases its going to be awesome!! Except for one track, every song is Techno, and Robotic which makes sense with the movie, since it is called Endhiran. You might not like the songs in the beginning, but as you listen to them you will get hooked to them. :) Absolutely listen to the music of Enthiran,if you still haven't because it is breathtaking! If you aren't Tamil,no problem! Because there is the Telugu version of Enthiran, which is Yanthram and also a Hindi version named Robot. Do not miss the music or the movie when it releases in September! Please do post you comments about the music of Enthiran and tell me your picks!! :D

Music Directors........Part 2

Sorry, for not posting this earlier guys! I was working on a couple of other posts which I have already posted. So lets move on to the other set of music directors, which are my favorites! :)

Mani Sharma- Mani Sharma has always give great tunes in both Telugu and Tamil. He has started out in Telugu first and then also started to score for Tamil.I always thoug
ht of him as a Telugu A.R Rahman even though A.R Rahman is like the master of music. Because most of his songs were hits whether they were mass or class, and

I really enjoyed them :) He hasn't sang for any of his songs at all. My favorite albums from him were Iddaru Mitrulu,Prematho Raa,Takkari Donga,Shah Jahan,Youth,Indra,Tagore,Adavi Ramudu,Samba,Gudumba Shankar,Arjun,Balu ABCDEFG,Athonokkade,Athadu,
Jai Chiranjeevi,Ranam,Style,Pokiri,Ashok,Stalin,Pokkiri(Tamil),Dubai Seenu,Chiruta,Athidi,Malaikottai,Toss,Ontari,Kantri,Parugu,Hero,Billa,Thoranai,Padi
kathavan,Sura,Maanja Velu, and Happy Happy Ga. The first time I actually paid attention to him was when he scored for Pokiri after that, when I listened to his old scores, then I noticed who he was :)

Chakri-His name might sound weird, but his tunes are top-notch. ;) I really appreciate his tunes,he seems to use effects with his songs like Vidyasagar. I don't know what it is but there is something different about his music. I really like his voice too,it sounds cool and icy.

Sometimes it can be low or high. He seems to always sing songs with fellow singer,Kousalya. My favorite Albums of him are : Andhrawala,Amma Nana O Tamil Ammayi,Soggadu,Desamuduru,Krishna,Maska,Raju Maharaju,Simha,Takkari,143 I miss you,Veede and Golimaar. So far he has only done Telugu Film songs. But they are really awesome songs :D

Harris Jayaraj-He is a music director in mostly Tamil and Telugu. Harris's compostions are mostly westernized just like some of Yuvan's but they are different. But he does do some Mass/Kuthu songs for his movies,he composes. Most of his songs sound deep, like they have deep tones, most of his singers sing with deep tones. That doesn't mean that his music is boring and dull, but that he can make a happy song with a deep toned singer. His tunes have always been enjoyable, but he is one of the few music directors who don't sing for their songs, just like Mani Sharma. Now my favorite albums of his are :
Saamy,Kakkha,Kakkha,Garshana,Chellame,Arul,Anniyan,Ghajini,Vettaiyaadu Velaiyaadu,Sainikudu,Pachaikili Muthucharam,Unnale Unnale,Bheema,Satyam,Varanam Aayiram,Ayan,Aadhavan,and Vasu.

Devi Sri Prasad- Devi is a pretty young music director, who has had ALOT of hits in his music career. He sings for his songs too,in every album he sings at least in one of his songs. Personally to me he seems like a show off but whatever I just like his music. His songs rock! :D I don't know how to explain his music so you just have to listen to it :D My favorite albums of him are : Venky,Manmudhu,Shankar Dada MBBS,Mass,Thirupaachi,Naa Alludu,Bunny,Bhadra,Andarivaadu,Sachein,Aaru,Pournami,Bommarillu,Rakhi,Aata,Shankar Dada Zindabad,Tulasi,Jalsa,Nuvvostanenta Nenuoddantana,Ready,King,Villu,Arya 2,Kanthswamy/Mallana,Adhurs,Singam,and Kutty. He proved that he can do classical music

just as well as his mass, and hip hop music with the telugu movie Pournami, which was great too :D.

Mickey J Meyer - Mickey has done only a few albums starting from 2005. He has done the movies Pothe Poni(2005),10th Class(2006),Notebook(2006),Happy Days(2007),Hare Ram(2008),Kotha Bangarau Lokam(2008),Ganesh(2009),Leader(2009),and Maro Charitra for Telugu. Even though he started out in 2005,I didn't take notice of his music till 2007 when hedid the music for the Blockbuster "Happy Days". Those songs were literally chartbusters back then in 2007. Since thenI really liked his music, like Hare Ram,Kotha Bangaru Lokam, and Leader. His music gives you a breezy feel with the instruments he uses. :)

Shankar-Eshaan-Loy- I knew the trio was in the industry for a long time but I never actually listened to their songs alot, but when I heard their tracks from Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Yavarum Naalam and ,Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam I fell for them! :D Their tunes are just so

upbeat and full of life! I love them :D . Shankar Madhavan's voice adds to the awesome tunes! His voice sounds peppery to me , but in a good way. :)

S.A Rajakumar- Rajakumar is a pretty old music director who has scored numerous in both Tamil and Telugu. His music is more in a melody type the with hard beats. He rarely did beats,, like for the Tamil movie Priyamanvale he did "Misses Kennedy",Kaikaluri Kani Pilla for Sneham Kosam. But I have liked his movies like Priyamanavale,Sneham Kosam,Kalisundam Raa,Poove Unakkaga,Vaseegara,Priyamana Tozhi,Vasantham,Daddy, and Nava Vasantham. Since I am not a much of a melody person I don't have much favorites of his,but still he is one of my favorite music directors :D. Still that doesn't mean I don't like melodies, I just don't like many of them.

Watch this space for more because this is just Part 2/4! :D 2 more parts to come!! :D

Madrasapattinam-My Review

I just watched Madrasapattinam yesterday, and I loved it,so I am going to review it! :D So far the movie is one of the best Tamil movies I have seen this year! :D We should all applaud the director,A.L Vijay for writing and directing such a beautiful story. Now For the Review:

Cast:
Arya-Parthi
Amy Jackson-Amy Wilkonson
Nassar-Ayyakanu
Cochin Hanifa-Nambi
M.S Bhaskar
Carole Trungmar-aged Amy
Lisa Lazarus-Amy's granddaughter
Alexx O'Nell as Robert Ellis

Story:
The story takes place in 1947 and 2010. An old english lady is about to get an operation, but there are minimal chances that she will survive. When she knows that she says that she has to go to India. Her granddaughter takes her. When they arrive she has a 60-year old photograph of Parthi, with that the search for him starts. Now why are they searching for him? Okay, so now the story goes back to 1947,to when Amy arrives to Madrasapattinam(now Chennai). She meets Parthi when she goes to see Madras with Nambi, her funny translator, and Robert. But then she asks Parthi to show her Madras around and he does. After, that Sequences of events lead them to fall in love with each other.Amy even learns Tamil for Parthi. Also Parthi affectionately calls Amy Durai Amma. But then comes August,15 1947 when ALL of the Britishers have to go back to England, which means Amy too.................
Sorry guys, thats all I can right about the movie, don't want to spoil the movie! :D Because its a pretty new movie :)

Story-Direction-Dialouge-Screenplay-Cinematography
Story,Direction, and Dialogue were done by A.L Vijay, and all three were great! :D The movie was shown so well,it was shown very convincingly.Especially Amy's part,of a nice hearted English women, who loves Parthi soo much. The story was wonderful, the characters were shown strongly and most of them were brave. The romance in the film was potrayed delicately, not overdoing the romance,if you see what I am saying. But sometimes,it sort of reminds you of the movie Titanic,as if it is the Indian/Tamil version of Titanic. The screenplay was fine too, every scene was in the place it's supposed to be,we don't get confused when they transition between time. The dialogues were just right,no change is needed. The good thing is they didn't use old Tamil lol :D Because I think I would have gotten lost! :D Nirav Shah, the cinematographer of the film, showed old Madras very well. This is what Indiaglitz said which I totally agree with! :) : What more, the lens of Nirav Shah has been at its best capturing them well on screen. The lights and shades, the colour tone and the difference in flashback and contemporary on screen hog all limelight thanks to the cinematographer. His work is one of the assets of the film. I did'nt see much comedy in this movie except the part where whenever Nambi(Cochin Hanifa) sees a camera he just stands sill without moving, which is shown in a humorous manner :D.And also the part where everyone in Parthi's place belives that the helicopters throw bombs and Amy laughs and tells them its just a myth. The Art Director of Madrasipattinam Mr.Selva Kumar should get special mention for wonderfully recreating Madras(Chennai) from 1947. The settings had a realistic look, they don't look fake at all. My favorites were the Central Station ,the beautiful British houses, trams, and the non-polluted water ways they showed :).

Performances:
Arya was fit for the role,I don't think anybody else would have suited for the role. He looks brave, but shy too while talking to Amy.He is really funny when he tries to speak English and he ends up forgetting what he is about to say! :D He is really sweet as the romantic guy too. This has to be his best role till date! :D Now we come to Amy Jackson,WOW! she was awesome for a newcomer who isn't even Indian(she is British). Wow! she lip synced her Tamil perfectly! :D Especially in the song Aaruiyre,I was like woah, she is really good. She also gave good expressions in the film. Which is hard for someone like her,who is English. Cause there are some Indian actresses out their who can't even lip sync or give expressions correctly. But I am curious to know if she dubbed for herself in the parts where she has to speak Tamil, cause it sounded like she did. Amy is really beautiful too. Carole Trungmar as the old Amy was great too,she acted well too, especially at the ending..The rest of the cast was good too, they gave good support! :D I say that the whole crew gave convincing performances, but Amy was the best out of all including Arya. She was really good in the part where she tells Arya to leave from the boat. She was good as a struggling lady trying to protect her love. She emoted really well,in almost every scene! :)

*******SPOILER ALERT*******
Memorable Scenes in Madrasapattinam:
1.Where Parthi trys to speak english and he forgets how to what is your name and he turns around to remember what it was and Amy says "Marundatiya?" in an Engilsh accent. And he looks at her in awe and suprise.
2.when Amy wheres the sari and Parthi looks at her differently, like he is amazed, and shocked.
3.The part where a old man puts a Indian flag on Amys Jacket. But then relizes she is British and is about to take it off ,but then Amy stops him from doing so.
4.Off Course the scenes where Amy speaks in Tamil.
5.The song Pookal Pookum.
6.Where they showed all the stuff named after Duraiamma.

*******SPOILER ALERT DONE*******
Music:
The music of this movie well definitely be unforgettable, forever. I mean G.V Prakash gave stunning tunes! They suited that part of time really well! They were britishy, but Indian too. I don't think anyone would have done better. My favorites were Pookal Pookum,Aaruiyre,Vaama Duraiamma, and Kaatrile. My favoritest was Pookal Pookum becuase it sounded so precious and sweet! The singers Roop Kumar Rathod and Harini seem to have sung it with their sou.l lol :D I just loved from the first time I listened to it, I bet you did too :) Its really hard to explain about this song,it just touched my heart even more, after I watched the movie.I love the lyrics of the song alot too, they were so sweet and Romantic.:
pookkaL pookkum tharuNam aaruyire, paarththadhaarum illai.

O precious life [aaruyire], no one has seen the moment when flowers blossom.

ularum kaalai pozhudhai muzhu madhiyum pirindhupovadhillai

Even when it [the flower] withers, the full value [of the flower] does not separate and leave.

netRu varai neram pogavillai; unadharuge neram podhavillaiye.

Until yesterday, time would not go (as in, time went by too slow); [but] the time beside you was not enough (as in, time went by too fast)

edhuvum pesavillaiye inRu, eno edhuvum thonRavillaiye; idhu edhuvo

Today, I didn’t say anything, for some reason I didn’t feel anything; O this is something (e.g., something strange/powerful)

iravum viDiyavillaiye, adhu viDindhaal pagalum mudiyavillaiye – poondhaLire

The night did not break (into dawn), even if it broke (into dawn), the day also did not finish – O budding flower [this is the literal meaning of poondhaLire; the figurative meaning is more like 'damsel')

vaarthai thevaiyillai, vaazhum kaalam varai paavai paarvai mozhi pesume

Words are not sufficient; as long as we live, damsel, [our] eyes will do the talking.
[literal translation of the last part is more like: eye-sight will speak language]

netRu thevaiyillai, naaLai thevaiyillai; inRu indha noDi podhume.

Yesterday is not sufficient, tomorrow is not sufficient; today, this moment is sufficient/enough.

verinRi, vidhaiyinRi, vin thoovum mazhaiyinRi; idhu enna ivan thoTTam poo pookkudhe

Without roots, without seeds, without rain sprinkled by the sky; why are the flowers in his garden blossoming?

vaal inRi, pOr inRi, valikkinRa yuddham inRi, idhu enna ivan anbu ennai velludhe

without sword, without struggle, without painful war – what is this, his love is conquering me.
[I don't know what 'vaal' means in this context... vaal can mean Tail, like a monkey's tail; it can mean mischief (e.g., vaalaattam), but I don't know what it really means here]

idhayam muzhudhum irukkum; indha thayakkam ninru kondu niruthum.

It will fill the heart; this hesitance will continue standing and stop (our love?…)

idhai aRiya engu kiDaikkum viLakkam? adhu kiDaiththaal solla veNDum enakkum

To learn this, where do I get the explanation? if [you] get it [the explanation], you must tell me as well.

poondhaLire
O budding flower

endha megamidhu, endhan vaasal vandhu engum eera mazhai thoovudhe.

What cloud is this? It comes to my doorstep, and in order to make everything wet it sprinkles rain.

enna uRavu idhu, edhuvum puriyavillai enRu boadhum idhu neeLudhe.

What relationship is this? Even when I feel that “I don’t understand anything” it [the relationship] lengthens.

yaar enRu aRiyaamal, per kooDa theriyaamal, ivanoDu oru sondham uravaanadhe

Without knowing who it is, without even knowing the name, you become his very own relation/kindred?

yen enRu keTkaamal, thaDuthaalum niRkaamai, ivan pogum vazhi en manam pogudhe.

Without asking who it is, without even being stopped by obstacles, my heart/mind goes the same way/path that he goes.

paadhai muDindhappiRagum, indha ulagil payaNam muDivadhillaiye.

Even after the path ends, the journey in this world does not finish.

kaatRil paRandhe, paravai maRaindha piRagum, illai thoDangum naDanam muDivadhillaiye

Flying in the sky, even after the bird disappears, the dancing that starts does not finish.

idhu edhuvo

This is something (strange/powerful)

Aaruyire was lovely too. It made you feel their pain for each other.Amy was very convincing in that song, with perfect lip syncing and expressions.Settings were pretty too :) Kaatrile was very situational, but nice.Vaama Duraiamma was funny, and Udit was good too in singing it :). I enjoyed the dance theme too,it sounded real fun :D and its where Amy dresses in a Sari :D

Likes: Story-Direction-Dialouge-Screenplay-Cinematography,Music Off course.!!! :D I also liked the settings in the movie,it felt like you were living 1947 :D I loved the music! G.V Prakash ROCKS!!! :D I really liked Arya, and Amy Jackson. They acted soo well! :D The costumes worn by Amy in the movie. Carole Trungmar she was good as the old Amy :) Also liked how Amy learned Tamil for Parthi,it was really sweet of her :D <3>

Dislikes:The ending it made me cry so badly :'(.

THE END:Okay,If you haven't seen Madrasapattinam then GO WATCH IT! Because if not you are missing a really awesome Tamil Movie! This will be one of your favorite Tamil Movies after you watch it. I am not kidding! But let me tell you before that you will cry a lot! I did from the part where Amy tries to get Parthi of the boat to the credits :'( But you will definitely love it :D Everything thing about this movie is marvelous! If you have seen it comment on the post of what you think of the movie! :D I want to know! :D EVERYTHING! A.L. Vijay comes back after the awesome movie Kireedom from 2007,but now he has made a better movie than before. :D
So go see MADRASAPATTINAM!!!!

What I think:
Tamil:
The Best Film should go to either Kanchivaram or Naadodigal. It should go to Kanchivaram because it was such a realistic movie. It was about a weaver, who promises to marry off his daughter with a silk saree. Which is so realistic, about the lives of sari weavers, which touched everyone's hearts. Everyone acted very well, with life. Naadodigal also deserves it because it portrayed such great friendship between three people. It was about three friends who help a guy and girl unite against there parents wishes, but the story isn't done there , they lose many things during the course, and bad things happen after they unite too. Though only one award is presented, both movies deserve it.
The Best Director is a hard category to pick from because all the directors in the category did a wonderful job in showing the movies. I would choose either.....mhmm,well actually I would choose all of them so I don't really mind who wins I am happy for who ever wins in the category :D.Uh-oh its the big one, Best Actor...dum,dum,dum,dummmm! lol :D Okay, well I want Arya for Naan Kadavul to win. Because he did a different role in all of his career, which he did really well as an Aghori.I don't think its fair if Kamal Hassan wins the award for Unnaipol Oruvan,as much as I like him,I don't think he should win the award. Its because Kamal Hassan,a superstar who has one many awards, and people should give a chance for other actors to win awards too.Now for the Best Actress award, this one also should go to Pooja U. for Naan Kadavul. She brilliantly enacted the role of Hamsavalli, a blind beggar who is forcefully separated from her group of people.I really don't like how Filmfare has incorporated Supporting actor and Villain together because they are totally two different things. But anyways, I choose Prabhu to win the award of Best Supporting Actor because he was awesome as the caring guy of Deva(Surya S.),and was also one of the comic relief's in the movie. :D For Best Supporting Actress, with no second thought I totally choose Abhinaya for Naadodigal! She was amazing,I swear! Even though she is hearing and speech impaired, she acted remarkably! I had no clue that she was hearing and speech impaired until I saw one of her interviews! I would not mind who gets the Best Music Director award between Devi Sri Prasad and Harris Jayaraj because I really enjoyed the soundtrack of Villu,Kanthswamy,Aadhavan, and Ayan but I also like Kanden Kadhalai but I didn't like every single song like I did for the four mentioned. The Best Male Singer should go to Karthick for Hasile Fisile because he made the song sound soo cool, especially in the beginning when he sings the lines:
Anbe unnal manam freezing
adada kaadhal endrum amazing excuse let me tell you something Ne sirithaal Iphone tring tring Ne pesum ambu yenmel paaya Kaadhal vandhu yennai aala varuvayo yennai kapaatra vandhaal madisaaiven vazha
These lines just sound sooo cool :D,they got stuck in my head ever since. :D Gosh!,The Best Female singer is soo hard to pick! I am going between Chinmayi for Vaayrayo Vaarayo and Rita for Allegra! The both sung very well for the songs :D Grrrr... its so complicated ! :D

Telugu:
For the Best Film here in my opinion is between Arundathi and Magadheera, its not because they were hits, its because they were different ventures for the Telugu film industry. I would'nt mind which one gets it but I am leaning more towards Arundathi because it was a female oriented role, and normally female oriented roles aren't accepted that well by people.

Best Director should also be between S.S Rajamouli for Magadheera and Koti Ramakrishna for Arundathi and new entries Surendar Reddy for Kick and Chaitanaya Danthaluri for Baanam! :D So this one is a really difficult one for me to pick. :( All these movies had really good and different stories from the norm. For Best Actor, it should absolutely go to Ram Charan Teja! :D He did really awesome stunts, acting, and dance! :D The Best Actress award, just as to, JUST AS TO!, go to Anushka! for Arundathi!!! :D She was AMAZING!!! :D JUST AMAZING!!! NO NEED TO EXPLAIN! :D Now, Best Supporting Actor is hard because everyone in the category was staggering and impressive,EVERYONE! :D So I will be happy if anyone wins, but I am leaning towards Prakash Raj for Aakashamanta lol :D hehehehehe :D Best Supporting Actress should go to either Kalpika,Manorama,or Ramya Krishnan, because they were really supporting to the movie :D See, even though Kalpika's role was brief in Prayanam she gave a different comic relief. :D Manorama was sweet and nice as a grandmother to Anushka and she dubbed very well for herself, it didn't have a Tamil tinge. Ramya Krishnan was perfect has a loving, but troubled mother. :D She just rocked in the movie :D Devi Sri Prasad for Arya 2 or Shankar-Eshaan-Loy for Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam should win the award for Best Music Director. :D The tunes for both movies were exceptional! :D Shankar-Eshaan-Loy gave really pleasant, and different music for the Telugu audience which I thoroughly enjoyed! :D I liked the whole soundtrack. Arya 2 had great songs too! :D, I loved the tracks: Mr.Perfect,My Love is gone, and Ringa Ringa. Best Male Singer should go to Anuj Gurwara for Panchadara Bomma or to Baba Shegal for Mr.Perfect. Panchadara Bomma was really sweet, and sounded romantic and cute :) <3>

Best Female singer is soo hard to pick again!! I'm going between Amrita for Meghama,Priya Hemesh for Ringa Ringa, and Sunidhi Chauhan for Saradaga. Amrita sounded soo sweet in the song Meghama and Priya Hemesh really gave a mass punch to Ringa Ringa, and Sunidhi gave romantic songs a new sound and look :D <3.>

Malayalam:
Now for the last category I am going to talk about,Malayalam. :) For Best Film I choose Pazhassi Raja because that movie literally made history in Malayalam Cinema! :D The art in the movie was awesome as in the settings of the movie. Hats off to the Art director! :D

The Best Director category is always a hard one for Malayalam films, because every Malayalam movie taken is awesome! :D I like all the movies and directors in that category so I can't pick the Director! :D Ahhh! Its Best Actor again!, lol! :D Okay,I am going to say what I feel about this category in Malayalam. For the past couple of years I have been seeing only Mohanlal or Mammootty winning the Filmfare for Best Actor in Malayalam. I think that needs to change. Not that I don't admire Lalettan and Mammukka, they are my one of my favorite actors. But I think that people should give other actors to win the award other than those too. And please DO NOT think that I am only speaking like this because my favoritest actor Prithviraj is nominated, I am speaking about ALL other actors other than Mohanlal and Mammootty. This year I think somebody other than Mohanlal and Mammootty should win the award. You might be thinking,"Well Dileep and Jayaram won the award in between!?". Im going to say "well look who won the award in majority!".Sorry,if I have offended anyone,I was just saying my opinion. So this year I think another actor(Dileep,Prithviraj,or Jayaram) should win the award. Okay, now lets move to Best Actress :) The award should go to Priyanka Nair for Vilapanglkkapuram for acting as Zahira in the film soo brilliantly! She is lucky to have gotten such a good character in almost the beginning of her film career. :) Now lets move to Best Supporting Actor, Suresh Menon for Bhramaram should get the award because he played the character so well, which had tension and, scariness. He was really natural in his acting without overdoing it :). For Best Supporting Actress, I am going between Padmapriya for Pazhassi Raja and Samvrutha Sunil for Neelathamara, because both of them performed excellently! :D Both were great in their old-fashioned roles! :D They both played one of their bests in their career :)! Now for the category I have been waiting for in Malayalam..........................Best Music Director!!!! WOOHOO! :D Here I am definaley going for Deepak Dev for Puthiya Mukham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D With no second thought he should get it! :D His tunes totally rocked!!! :D Picha Vecha Naal was mind blowing!!!! :D No more explanation need. :) I don't need to tell you who should get the award for Best Male Singer but I will tell you anyway,if you don't understand already. :P Off Course Shankar Madhavan for Picha Vecha Naal!!!! :D :P Gosh!, I just loved that song :D It has a special place in my heart :) Shankar sang it sooo beautifully :) Its sooo hard to explain it in words.....It was just.....breath taking. Now Best Female singer just has to go to Swetha Mohan for Priyanu Matram!!!! :D She was rocking! She made the song sound so sweet and romantic! :D Her voice was just right for the song! :) It was very youthful and like honey lol :D

Some Titles are hyperlinked either to reviews or video songs :)

So thats what I think about the nominations for Tamil,Telugu, and Malayalam! :) Now,tell me what you think! :) Please Comment your opinion on the nominees for the Filmfare South Awards. :) Tell me who you think should win and why. :) Thanks :D
