Trisha to be Udhayanidhi's heroine

Leading producer and marketing wizard Udhayanidhi Stalin is turning hero in 2011 with a film titled Nanbenada.
The film will be directed by Rajesh the most promising director of the year.

The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Rajesh has talked to leading lady Trisha who is likely to sign up the film. Earlier there was rumours that Udhayanidhi had signed Sruthi Haasan who is the heroine of his Suriya film 7am Arivu, which is produced by him.

Remember in Rajesh's film whether it is Siva Manasulla Sakthi or Boss Engira Baskaran, the heroine is the pivot around which the film revolves. Nayanthara in an interview has said that "Chandrika of Boss Engira Baskaran is one of the best written roles I have ever done".

A leading newspaper in an article on Kollywood style of 2010 wrote: "Nayanthara won over the demure lady audiences with her simple salwar's in BEB."

Rajesh has said that in Nanbenada, the heroine like in all his films will play an important role. Among the leading ladies Trisha fits the bill, especially after her superb performance in Manmadhan Ambu.

Prabhu Deva's costly divorce!

It is already being talked about as the costliest ever divorce settlement in Kollywood.

Finally Prabhu Deva has worked out a "sweetheart deal" divorce settlement with his wife Ramlath. A joint affidavit signed by the couple was submitted in the 1st additional family court on Tuesday (Dec 28) seeking divorce by mutual consent.

The settlement, which will be formalised by a court decree after a period of six months, has brought to an end a rather stormy court battle.

Ramlath agreed to withdraw her petition, seeking restoration of her conjugal rights and to restrain Prabhu's marriage with Nayanthara. In their joint petition, they say : "it had become very difficult rather impossible for them to live together or to lead a normal life."

For Prabhu Deva it will be a very costly settlement, as he has agreed to part with substantial share of his assets. As per the deal worked Prabhu will give his sea side villa at Injambakkam on ECR, a bungalow in upmarket Anna Nagar, three flats and a property in Hyderabad, and two cars. He would also pay one time alimony of Rs 10 Lakhs to Latha. The buzz is that the market price for all the real estates put together  will be anywhere in the region of Rs 25 to 30 Crore.
Their two sons would share the property on ECR and in Hyderabad. In addition Prabhu would bear their educational and medical expenses. Prabhu Deva gets all other property documents and Latha would have no rights or claims whatsoever on them. Prabhu also gets access to his children at his own wish and pleasure.

Nadunisi Naigal – Tollywood’s Sigappu Rojakkal?

Director Gautham Menon has announced that Nadunisi Naigal, which is slated for release on January 26th, 2011, will be released in Telugu under the title Erra Gulabeelu. The Telugu title literally means Sigappu Rojakkal and this led to the guesswork that the film is inspired by the yesteryear hit of the same name in which Kamal Haasan and Sri Devi played the lead roles.

Gautham organized a press meet in Hyderabad recently to announce the Telugu version of NN and this meet was attended by Sameera Reddy, Veera Bahu, Gautham Menon, Telugu actor Srikanth, and filmmaker Rama Naidu. NN is directed by Gautham Menon and stars debutant Veera and Sameera Reddy.

The trailer of this film is expected to be released during the audio launch of Veppam, a production venture of Gautham.

Prabhu deva and Nayanthara to wed

The long and bitter battle between Prabhu Deva and Ramlath is soon to end with the couple opting for divorce by mutual consent. Ramlath had been fighting tooth and nail to get her husband back to her matrimonial home but has now decided that a divorce is the best option.

The couple has filed a divorce petition on grounds of mutual consent at the family court located in the High Court complex in Chennai today between 3 and 4:30 pm. A divorce by mutual consent means a divorce is in the offing at the earliest.

With the much expected divorce on its way, Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara are gearing up for their marriage.

Neetu Chandra’s marriage proposals

Neetu Chandra was in Dubai recently to participate in an event organized to commemorate director Priyadarshan’s work in the film industry for the past 30 years. The actress was a part of the cultural event which also had several other stars participating in it. Soon after her stage show, Neetu, who got down from the dais, was flooded with marriage proposals from some of the eligible bachelors present there.

Though the actress says that she was overwhelmed by the love and affection showered upon her, she politely refused the offers with a statement that she is more inclined towards her film career.

Arya's thriller discussion with Gautham

Arya is busy with the last schedule of Avan Ivan and is looking to sign up a good offer. The star’s fans are not only waiting to see him yet again in Bala’s direction after Naan Kadavul but are also eager about his next move.

An enquiry in Kollywood about Arya’s next move brought to light an interesting information that the actor and director Gautham Menon discussed a project recently. Sources reveal that Arya is happy with the storyline and has agreed to star in it.

The buzz now is that Gautham may soon complete Nadunisi Naigal and move on to wield the megaphone for this Arya-starrer. Sources aver that this could be a thriller, something that Arya has never done before.

Friendship calls ‘Shiva’ and ‘Yuvan’

Can you call this a bond on inspiring friendship? Absolutely, Shiva and Yuvan Shankar Raja have been close paisanos right from the early days. When Shiva suggested Yuvan Shankar Raja for ‘Pathinaaru’, the producers were deliberately reluctant as they felt their budget won’t meet his remuneration.

Shiva was sure enough of roping in Yuvan as he strictly conditioned him that remuneration will be relatively lesser than his usual standard. However Yuvan accepted the offer for the sake of friendship and delivered music on his own inspirations. The result? The songs of ‘Pathinaaru’ have become instant hits as the tracks are ringing

Tamannah waits for Gautham and Shankar

Tamannah has had a lucky year with Paiyya turning out to be a blockbuster and the actress is waiting for Siruthai to hit the marquee to continue her success run. With hits and some good offers pouring in, Tamannah must be thanking her stars. But the lady still has some unfulfilled desires as far as her career is concerned.

She says that working with ace directors like Gautham Menon, Shankar and Sasi Kumar is her dream and is waiting for a call from one of these directors. Let’s hope Tamannah's desire is fulfilled soon.

Harris says no to Bollywood

Almost all his albums in Tamil are hits. And music composer Harris Jayaraj, who is riding high on a success wave ever since he made his debut in ‘Minnalae’ a decade ago, is happy with it.

Denying any plan to work for a Hindi film, Harris says, “To be frank, I don’t have the time because I have to honour my commitments here. Also, this is my base and I am not ready to go anywhere.”

He adds: “I am not keen on entering Bollywood and seeking acknowledgment from people there. I am happy with what I am and thanks to the Almighty, I am able to deliver good music here.”

Eagerly expecting the release of two films which have music by him, Harris says, “Both Engeyum Kadhal and ‘Ko’ have beautiful songs. Working with Prabhudeva (for ‘Engeyum Kadhal’) and K V Anand (‘Ko’) was a wonderful experience.”

Maddy thrilled about ‘Manmadhan Ambu’

This is not the first time Madhavan is cherishing his experience working with Kamal Haasan. And this is also not going to be last time either, as the actor is so exicted about ‘Manmadhan Ambu’, his recent venture with the ‘Ulaga Nayagan’.

A few days ago, the actor watched ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ along with fans at a popular theatre in Chennai. “Watching the film with the super charged Tamil folk is a whole new ego boosting experience,” he says.

The actor adds: “Thank you all in the fraternity for wishing me for my drunkard act in Manmadhan Ambu and sending me alcohol, to show your appreciation. No, No I'm not a drinker at all, totally not into alcohol.”

Talking about Kamal, with whom he worked earlier in ‘Anbe Sivam’, Madhavan, who is also the hero of Kamal’s production venture ‘Nala Damayanthi’, says, “So tough to contain myself when it comes to Kamal sir. Because I am a huge Kamal sir devotee”

'Kalavani' style wedding for Vimal

In 'Kalavani', its protagonist Vimal would marry the girl of his choice despite opposition from her parents. And in real life too, the actor did the same thing by entering wedlock with his girlfriend, who happens to be his relative's daughter.

Vimal and Akshaya aka Priyadarsini, a medical college student in Chennai, were in love with each other. However, her parents allegedly opposed the affair, saying they were not interested in their daughter marrying an actor.

Following this, Akshaya left for Kumbakonam, where Vimal was shooting for a film. From there, they went to a Murugan temple and tied the knot.

Says Vimal, "We have no other option since Akshaya's parents were looking for a doctor groom for her"

Ko Movie Trailer

SRK – Punjabi, Asin – Tamilian?

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Punjabi’ identity is already doing bigger rounds in B-town while Asin’s status ‘Tamil’ is yet to be confirmed. Sounds puzzling, isn’t? Fine! Here’s what this is all about. SRK signing Vishal Bharadwaj’s adaptation of ‘2 States’ has now kept everyone, especially the actresses of Bollywood on higher expectations. So who could his ‘Tamil Brahmin girl’ in this flick?

So many names of top heroines ringing high on airs includes Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka. But now it looks like Asin has been included in the considerations as well.

Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra were the first option that was later dropped due to some issues. Sources mention that Katrina Kaif has fewer chances to bag the role as she wouldn’t fit the space of a Tamil

Asin has already proved of her proficiency as a Brahmin girl in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Dasavatharam’, which become an added value for ‘Ghajini’ girl.

Prabhu Deva’s condition…

Prabhu Deva’s next film with Vishal in the lead will have Vivek playing the comedian. As per the script, Vivek plays the role of a gym master, we are told. According to sources in Kollywood, the director suggested that Vivek sport a six-pack to fit into the role.

Following this the comedian is working overtime to make sure he is ready with a six pack right in time for the shooting.
Prabhu Deva has not yet titled this film, which has Vishal and Sameera Reddy playing the lead pair.

Ash’s secrets to be revealed

Aishwarya Rai has always remained picture perfect in full public glare and she manages to keep her personal life away from the media. She is, therefore, considered an enigma, and her fans have been eager to know more about her.

Now the opportunity seems to come in the form of an autobiography. Ash has been approached by a leading international publishing house to publish her autobiography for a huge sum.

Ash, it is said, is considering on taking up the offer but has some qualms over revealing some of the dark and interesting secrets that the publishers may want to publish. If she gives her nod, the autobiography may well be on the way soon.

Now after ‘Tournament’ film, Lal will be seen as a hero in the new film ‘Salt and Pepper’ directed by Ashique Abu of ‘Daddy Cool’ fame. Swetha Menon is the heroine of Lal in this film.

Lal is also playing an important character in the Jayasuriya starrer ‘Payyans’ which will hit the theatres soon. Asif Ali and Maithili are his co-stars here.

Looking at the speed with which Lal is taking up acting assignments, there is a serious actor in the making.

T'wood CCL team to be finalised in a week

While Bollywood and Kollywood Celebrity cricket league teams have been declared already, Tollywood has not finalised anything as yet. Inside sources say Junior NTR, Ramcharan Tej, Nagarjuna, Vishnu Manchu etc are interested in owning the team in Telugu cinema industry.

Sources from CCL confirm that the competition among Tollywood to own the team here is high and discussions are on  on who will bag the cine star team here. Bollywood team is owned by Salman Khan and Kollywood team by Suriya. Tollywood team is likely to be announced in a week's team once actors decide among themselves who would own the team.

The matches will be held in last week of January.

Vamsi is getting ready to direct Ram Charan

Though Vamsi Paidipally’s debut film ‘Parugu’ turned out to be an average flick, Dil Raju gave him another opportunity on his banner and Vamsi proved his mettle by directing NTR by portraying him in a different way in ‘Brindaavanam’ and Vamsi is presently enjoying the film’s success.

Noticing the spark in him, Ram Charan sent him a word expressing his wish to work with him. The storyline narrated by him impressed the Mega Power Star and Dil Raju had come forward to make the film a reality.

As per the buzz from Film Nagar, the film in his direction with Ram Charan would begin soon after the completion of ‘Merupu’.

‘AOD’ to compete with ‘PVC’

The shooting of ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’ directed by Kovelamudi Prakash and jointly produced by Walt Disney, K Raghavendra Rao, Devineni Prasad was completed recently.

The post-production works have begun recently. The film unit is firm to release the film during Sankranti next year, a day early or after the release of ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ of Balakrishna.

The producers say, ‘The story of the film has a socio-fantasy backdrop and we made the film with a high budget. The graphics and visual effects of the film would definitely be a feast to the eyes of audiences. There was a massive response to the audio which was launched recently. The film is about the fight between a snake woman and an ordinary man. The snake woman has a desire to become an invincible force in the world and how the man thwarted her attempts is the subject.'

Siddhartha played the man and Lakshmi Prasanna played a negative role as a serpent woman. Shruti Hassan is making her debut into the Tollywood as heroine.

Fans, Tollywood pundits keep high hopes on ‘Shakthi’

There are several expectations on the film ‘Shakthi’ directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by C Aswanidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies.

This socio-fantasy film was being made with a high-budget and it created a record that it is the only Telugu film that was made in highest number of locations. It may be mentioned here that Vyjayanti Movies banner had brought out ‘Indra’ with Chiranjeevi and the film had earned a big name and remained a milestone for the banner.

Now, the latest film ‘Shakthi’ would be on par with the film, say Film Nagar sources. The publicity posters released recently indicate that the film would be a visual wonder. Manisharma is scoring music for the movie. It is reliably learnt that NTR’s dances and action scenes were choreographed in a never before manner and the film also came out excellently.

Lets us get ready for yet another blockbuster in NTR’s career.

Balayya’s next to be ‘Autonagar Surya’

Deva Katta, who caught the attention of the entire Telugu film industry, with his film ‘Prasthanam’, got an opportunity to direct Nandamuri Balakrishna.
It might be a coincidence that this director had announced that he was planning to do a film with rowdyism in the backdrop, when Ramgopal Varma made an announcement that he is bringing out ‘Bejawada Rowdylu’.

In order to avoid conflict, Deva Katta had decided to launch his film with a working title ‘Autonagar Surya’. The storyline narrated by him had impressed Sivalenka Krishna Prasad and Bellamkonda Suresh and they approached Balakrishna to do the film for them.

Though ‘Prasthanam’ bumped at the Box Office, his film got a critical acclaim. Lets us hope that Deva Katta would make the cash box ringing this time with Balakrishna.

Selva, Yuvan come together again

One of the wining combos of Tamil cinema, director Selvaraghavan and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is now coming together once again, for a film titled ‘Irandam Ulagam’. Interestingly, the movie will have Dhanush in the lead along with whom Selva and Yuvan dished out hits like ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai, ‘Kadhal Konden’ and ‘Pudupettai’.

Confirming this, the music composer says, “Yes, me and Selva are getting back together. I heard the script of ‘Irandam Ulagam’ with Dhanush in it. Lot of work to do as usual. Happy and excited.”

In the meantime, Yuvan is getting ready for his first ever music concert in Chennai, which is scheduled on January 16. “Just saw the promo video for my concert. I have no words to express. Really happy,” he says.

‘Vaanam’for Valentine’s Day

The much-expected ‘Vaanam’, a multistarrer which has STR, Bharath, Prakash Raj, Anushka, Sneha Ullal, Vega and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles, would hit the screens during the second week of February.

“The makers of the movie decided to release it in February because with Valentine’s Day round the corner, they hope that youngsters would throng theatres to watch this youth festival,” sources close to the unit say.

Produced by ‘VTV’ Ganesh, this Tamil remake of Telugu hit ‘Vedam’ is directed by Krish, who wielded the megaphone for the original too. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, STR’s lucky mascot.

‘Evandi Unnai Pethan…’, a single number from the film’s audio was released recently and it was declared a hit by trade pundits. “The movie has many more surprises. It is a novel attempt,” STR says.

'Neelavaanam': The reverse effect

What is special about Mani Ratnam's 'Kadhal Sadugudu' song from Alaipaiyuthey? Well, he has used the reverse technique in this song which looks brilliant on screen.

Likewise, in Kamal Haasan's Manmadhan Ambu, director K.S. Ravikumar has used the reverse technique in the breezy 'Neelavaanam' number.

The song actually narrates Kamal's flashback, i.e. from his marriage to accident. But here, the director has narrated the story from the accident to marriage! Doesn't that sound interesting?

Ko welcomed with open arms

KV Anand must be a happy man as the response received for the Ko trailer, which was released during the screening of Manmadhan Ambu, is really astounding. Social networking sites are flooded with messages about Ko’s trailer. This has the director raring to release the film soon.

According to latest reports, the movie is slated to be released on February 11th, keeping in the mind the young audiences celebrating Valentines’ Day. Ko, directed by KV Anand, has Jiiva and Karthika Nair playing the lead roles. This film is shot extensively in Norway and China.

Latest news on Billa 2...

Billa 2 has been announced and once again Ajith will get to play the title role. There are a lot of rumors going on about the storyline which is raising the expectation levels. The latest we hear on Billa 2 is that director Vishnuvardhan is planning something that will look like a prequel to the earlier version.

When enquired about this, it was revealed that the early life of David Billa and how he turns into an anti-social will form the crux of Billa 2.

The director is also exploring the possibilities of a new get-up for Ajith in this film. He wants the star to look very distinct and stylish, our source adds.

Arya all set to conquer 2011

Chikku Bukku is the third consecutive from Arya! The film, which was released early this month, has topped the charts and industry sources say that the second week’s collection surpassed the first week. The film’s success is mainly attributed to exotic locations, romantic storyline, comedy and music.

With the year 2010 closing in on a good note for Arya, the star is eagerly expecting the dawn of 2011 as he has a couple of projects lined up for release. Avan Ivan, directed by Bala and Vettai directed by Lingusamy are the two ventures that Arya is banking on.

Let’s hope that Arya’s success spree continues next year too!

Ragada breaks records

Nagarjuna hit jackpot with 'Ragada'. This action filled love triangle broke all records in Nag's career and collected Rs 2 crore 54 lakh 87 thousand 960 rupees on the first day itself.

Ragada is running housefuls all over the state and more so in B and C centres. With positive talk from all corners, the movie is expected to be one of the biggest hits and highest collecting films this year.

With Christmas vacations and not many films in theatres, Ragada also had an advantage at the box office. Finally, Nag ended 2010 on a very happy and positive note.

Is ‘PVC’ able to face Mirapakay spice

Let us recall that Balakrishna’s ‘Okka Magaadu’ could not withstand the threat posed by Raviteja’s ‘Krishna’ few years ago and the film turned out to be a major disaster.

After two long years, again Balakrishna’s release ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ is likely to face another threat from Raviteja in the form of ‘Mirapakay’. Though ‘Mirapakay’ was supposed to be released in December, it was put off due to the strike in the Tollywood and somehow completed the balance post-production works and is slated for release on December 31.

However, the makers might delay the release further by another week or so, as Nagarjuna’s ‘Ragada’ earns a near hit talk and had lots of mass appeal.

In this backdrop, producer Ramesh Puppala and director Harish Shankar are planning to shift the release date to January 6. With ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ slated for Pongal release, the film is most likely to face Raviteja threat again this year.

Ileana may replace Kajal in Merupu

Even as ‘Orange’ is on sets, the shooting of ‘Merupu’ was launched and Ram Charan took part in both the shootings for some time. However, because of the abroad schedule, Ram Charan gave a break to the shooting of ‘Merupu’ after the first schedule and completed ‘Orange’ first. Soon after its completion, Ram Charan decided to take a break and went on a holiday to an island near Andaman.

Ram Charan was supposed to pair up with Kajal for second time in ‘Merupu’ after their successful combination of ‘Magadheera’. With the delayed start of ‘Merupu’ second schedule, Kajal kept herself off from the film as she expressed her inability to adjust the dates.

The latest buzz from the film industry is that Ileana might replace Kajal in ‘Merupu’. However, the film- makers are yet to confirm this news.

'Manmadhan Ambu' makes it big

Kamal Haasan's movies kindle the cine-goer's interest no end. They always arrive with a promise of a novel cinematic experience for the audience who are used to having hackneyed stuff shoved down their throats.

'Manmadhan Ambu' is no exception. Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by K S Ravikumar, the film has surpassed all the expectations and is declared a blockbuster within just two days of its release.

"In fact it arouses even more interest what with the ace actor penning the story, script, and dialogues for the movie besides essaying a lead role. And it must be said for him that he does not disappoint," says R Balasubramanaiam, who works with a leading software company.

K S Gunasekar, another techie says, "The film turns out to be a marriage of pure craft and commercialism as Kamal's story and screenplay get attractively packaged by its director K S Ravikumar Unlike their previous outings together ('Avvai Shamnugi, Panchathanthiram, Thenali' and 'Dasavatharam'), 'Manmadhan Ambu' refuses to get slotted under one single genre coming as it does with good doses of romance, comedy, action and sentiments."

Manmadhan Ambu Review- Just the right amount of everything

I watched Manmadhan Ambu today, well technically yesterday at 9:30 pm. I was lucky that it was playing in Telugu with the same timing so my parents went to that, while I went to the Tamil one. I picked the Tamil one because obviously, its the original one. Manmadhan Ambu stars Kamal Hassan,Trisha,Madhavan, and Sangeetha in the lead roles. Kamal Hassan has also take up the roles of a writer and a lyricist(5 songs) in this film. With K.S Ravikumar directing it and Devi Sri Prasad handles the music. Last but not least Udhayanidhi Stalin produces the film. Lets see how one of the most hyped Tamil film of the year turned out:

Ambujakshi aka Nisha (Trisha), is an actress and her fiance is an industrialist Madanagopal(Madhavan). He becomes a "Sandeha Prani" , he starts suspecting Ambu because of her career, and that creates a fight between the two,and their wedding stops. 3 years later,Ambu is on a European cruise/holiday with her child hood best friend(Sangeetha),who is a divorcee and has two kids. Meanwhile Madan sends an ex army man Major Rana Mannar(Kamal Hassan), to spy on Ambu to see if she is having an affair of some sort. The rest of the movie is what happens on the holiday and if Ambu and Madhan get back together or not.

Its a breeze for Kamal Hassan, too easy. Madhavan is drunk most of the time(lol), which he did very well in a whole. He looked incredibly young,  though he is 40. He has negative shades to his character. This might be one of Trisha's best films. She scores huge on performance,  matching Kamal Hassan in every scene, with her emotions and dialogue delivery. This is the second time she has dubbed for herself after Aayutha Ezhuthu, it was also nice to hear her voice. She pronounced the Tamil Kavathai words perfectly( thanks to Kamal Hassan), but kudos to her for getting it right! Sangeetha was perfect for her role, one of her best roles too, even though it was a supporting,it was a essential one. Ramesh Arvind, though a small role, you develop a ton of sympathy for his character, same with Urvashi. Caroline was gorgeous, however she had an extremely short role with no dialogue. Kunjan and Manju Pillai were hilarious as Kurup and Manju Kurup! K.S Ravikumar and Devi Sri Prasad had guest appearances. But the one to talk about is Surya's cameo,it was short and sweet ,but left you wanting more, cause it was just too cute. In all a outstanding performance by the whole cast!

My thoughts on the Cast: Trisha was awesome in the acting department but, looks wise she looked dried out. She didn't have that glow she normally has. She looked best in the end,and the beginning. But she still rocked! :) About Surya, I felt that without him the story wouldn't have really started. Im sure that Kamal, could have written the story in a different way, but for this Surya was needed. Because thats what starts the fight between Ambu and Madhan, without Surya there isn't a fight.

Music: First off, Neela Vaanam was just beautiful, everything about it. Before it was a wonderful song, but the picturization just adds to it now. The song has to be watched to understand the charisma of it. Kamal Hassan was definitely the right to choice to sing the song he added life to such a sweet song.  DSP has come out with some classy and decent tunes, which everyone can enjoy. He has done good BGM too. Lyrics are touching and understandable.

Technical side: The live recording is awesome, its different to hear their actual voices. A very cool experience for the audience as well. The cinematography done by Manush Nandan is a huge asset to the film because it adds emotion, and the film feels breezy and fun.

Pros:

  • Comedy
  • Cast
  • Soundtrack/Music
  • BGM( Background Music)
  • Performances
  • Story/Direction
  • Lyrics
  • Includes Everything
  • Realistic film( except the action sequence in the beginning)
  • The song Neela Vaanam as a whole
  • Surya's Cameo
Cons:

  • Confusing Climax( was hard to understand it cause, it was tongue twisty)
  • Confusing Ending
  • Hard to understand Madhavan and Sangeetha while they were drunk( lol )

My
thoughts: I felt this movie to be a breezy flick, that can be watched a bunch of times. I really don't think you can get bored with a film like this. Every scene is a surprise and a pleasure to watch. I enjoyed every bit of the movie, loved it :) I also felt that the movie got comical as it neared to the end, because of all that hilarious planning for Ambu and Madhan. Definitely one of my most fav Tamil movies :) Im going to buy the DVD as soon as it comes out, maybe I'll go for Blu-Ray if they get one out. :)

Trailer:

The End: The movie zooms in on the traits of honesty and belief, we see that through out the movie. This is a movie for everyone to watch, its a clean family flick with no vulgarity, and its also not a typical K.S Ravikumar film either. Its something different, yet includes everything like comedy, romance, action, emotion, sentiment, etc. Its a all in one deal for the entire family to watch.

Rating: 4/5 ****/*****
