Arjun weighs options. To direct more

Action King Arjun is deeply studying about the measures that are required to resurrect his suddenly slumping career. His last film ‘Vallakottai’ hasn’t done him any good and even the television rights value for his films is sinking.

To give himself that needed push, Arjun is planning to direct two films. Sources say he has bought two scripts of which one is written by director SP Rajkumar of ‘Sura’.

Arjun’s trusted partner Vadivelu has been committed to take care of the comedy portions in both the films. To create the comedy portions for the proposed films Arjun has entrusted the job with Saravanan, who was an associate of Thambi Ramaiah.

But before that Arjun is testing the waters for one final time by releasing ‘Gandhipuram’ along with ‘Manmathan Ambu’ on December 24. ‘Gandhipuram’ is dubbed from Telugu ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna’ in which Arjun plays a ‘don’ Mumbai who returns to his native village ‘Gandhipuram’ after his dying wife pleads him to give up violence.
