Trisha lost her opportunity to play opposite Venkatesh, as Nayanatara bagged the offer in her place for ‘Savitri’ to be directed by Teja and produced by D Sureshbabu on the banner of Suresh Productions.It appears that Nayanatara had changed her mind to keep off from the film industry by settling as the housewife to Prabhudeva, due to legal wrangles. In this backdrop, she had started giving her dates to the producers.
She was selected for the role of Sita in ‘Srirama Rajyam’ opposite Balakrishna to be directed by Bapu and produced by Yalamanchili Saibaba on the banner of Saibaba Movies. Now, the latest buzz is that she was okayed for the female lead in ‘Savitri’. Earlier Trisha was considered for the film, but she was replaced with Nayanatara.
