Popular character actor of Mollywood, Subair passed away yesterday following a cardiac arrest at a hospital in Kochi. He was 47.
Subair felt pain in his chest while travelling with his family in his car.He himself drove to the nearby hospital where it was confirmed that he is having a cradic problem.He was then taken to the medical Trust hospital. The hospital authorities tried their best but could not save the actor .
Subair, born in Chokli in Thalassery, debuted in films with 'Maantrika Cheppu' in 1992. Since then, he had done about 200 films and several TV serials. He excelled in roles of negative sghades and had some emeorable ones in 'Tiger', 'Bharathchandran I P S' , 'Nadia Kollappeetta Rathri' and 'Pazhassi Raja'.The actor just completed his portions for 'Thriller', the new Prithviraj film directed by B Unnikrishnan.
Subair has recently settled in Kochi to aid his wife who delivered their second baby ,last month.The actor was returing from shopping, when he felt pain in his chest.
Subair is survived by his wife Dilshad, son Aman and the two-week old second baby.
