One of the films that is inviting the maximum of people to its sets is the remake of ‘Rethinirvedham’ which is being shot at Kayamkulam. In fact, the shooting crew is planning to can the 'very special scenes' of the movie away from the mob in the studio sets. Meanwhile, the lead actress of the movie Swetha Menon, who is all set to play a different Rethi Chechy from the one portrayed by Jayabharathi in the original, is keeping away from seeing the eighties classic to avoid any kind of inspirations from it. The actress who is said to put on weight to play the role, also says that she will willing to take the risks of any comparisons.
'Rathinirvedham', the remake of the Bharathan-Padmarajan classic had Jayabharathi and Krishnanchandram playing the lead roles. In the remake Young actor Sreejith who debuted with Fazil's ‘Living Together’ will be playing the role of Appu. The remake directed by T K Rajeev Kumar is produced by Suresh Kumar under the banner of Revathy Kalamandir.
