The cast and crew of ‘Muthukku Muthaga’ were gripped with panic recently, when Oviya, one of the heroines of the movie, collapsed all of a sudden while canning an important song at Sedapatti near Dindigul.“Oviya was running a high temperature but attended the shoot since she didn’t want the schedule to be affected because of her. She fainted on the sets suddenly and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was given treatment,” says director of the film Rasu Madhuravan.
Admiring the professional in the actress, the director adds: “Immediately after she was administered drips, she came back to the sets and completed dancing for the song, which involved several other artistes too.”
‘Muthuku Muthaga’, a family drama, will hit the screens this week. Besides this, Oviya is currently busy with the Telugu and Kannada remakes of her blockbuster ‘Kalavani’. A couple of Tamil projects are also in her way.
