The latest buzz doing the rounds is that AMMA President Innocent is all set to do a Tamil after many years. The veteran actor has become the object of liking by Tamil actor-director Samuthirakani, while he was recently in Kerala to do a pivotal role in Mohanlal's 'Shikaar'.
The Tamil director has immediately offered a meaty role to Innocent in his next movie which will have ‘Subramaniapuram’ fame Sasikumar as the hero. Samuthirakani believes that Innocent with his terrific humor sense will shine in Tamil also, if given plum roles.
Innocent, though in the film industry for the last thirty years had rarely attempted chances in other languages. The only instances he went out of Mollywood was all for his Malayalee friend and director Priyadharshan. Innocent did ‘Lesa Lesa’ in Tamil and also a couple of Hindi films before all directed by good friend Priyan.
