More screens being added for 'Rangam'

Directed by KV Anand 'Rangam' is surprising everyone in the Telugu film industry with more and more screens being added for its screening. The film was released across the state in a few theatres, but the film got a tremendous response from everywhere and the producers were forced to send more and more prints to each centre and many theatres are coming forward to screen the film to cash in on the hit talk of the film.

Despite a heavy competition from the original Telugu films like '100% Love', 'Veera', 'Badrinath' and '180' and dubbed films like 'Vaadu Veedu', the film withstood it and successfully completed a 50-day run and is aiming to complete 100 days.

Jeeva, who paired up with Karthika for the film which was actually made in Tamil with a title called 'Ko' was a runaway hit in Tamil Nadu. Noticing huge response to the film, the producers decided to release the film in Telugu too, as both Jeeva and Karthika are famous among the Telugu audiences as well.

S Kumar and R Jayaraman of Super Good Movies have come forward to dub the film in Telugu. It is not a joke that a dubbed Telugu film evoking such a huge response.

The film is earning good revenues and running with near houseful collections in many theatres across the state. Interestingly, from this weekend, eight more theatres are added for the film in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Not just in Capital city, in many rural towns, the film is still running to good crowd and is the first option for many moviegoers. The film had almost collected decent revenue in Telugu bringing profits to the producers.

It is learnt that the film is now getting ready to be remade in Hindi too with Akshay Kumar as hero and Karthika is making her debut as heroine in Bollywood with this movie.
