New twist to Rakta Charitra story! Ram Gopal Varma can now add a new twist to the story of the second part of Rakta Charitra, based on the real life story of Paritala Ravi! The Andhra Pradesh police arrested Paritala Ravis close aide and former Naxalite leader Pothula Suresh on Friday afternoon in Surat, Gujarat. Known to be working on a plot to murder Maddelacheruvu Suri, the prime accused in Paritalas murder, Pothula Suresh had gone underground after the murder of Paritala Ravi in 2004. We have taken Pothula Suresh into custody and he would be produced in a local court probably tomorrow, Anantapur Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar Sinha said on Friday. Suresh is wanted in 16 criminal cases in Anantapur district, including 7-8 murder cases, the police officer said, adding, He allegedly masterminded the killing of Congress MLA S. Chenna Reddy. Suresh is an accused in 7-8 murder cases since 1994 and was absconding since 2004. Asked where Suresh was arrested, the SP declined to give any details on security grounds. Due to security issues, we cannot reveal the details from where Suresh was nabbed, he said. Sources, however, said Suresh was nabbed from Surat city and a special police team from Anantapur took him into custody. Definitely the arrest gives a new angle to whole story of Rakta Charitra.
