Vachadu... Gelichaadu...' audio as I-Day gift

KVV Satyanarayana, who had brought several super hit films had bagged the Telugu dubbing rights of 'Vandaan... Vendraan...' directed by R Kannan, a protege of Maniratnam. This a commercial film with good message with Jeeva playing the lead role.

The same film is coming up as 'Vachadu... Gelichaadu...' in Telugu. Thaman scored excellent tunes to all the songs in this film. The film had completed dubbing activity and is getting final touches for the release in Telugu.

Speaking on the occasion, the producer KV Venugopal says, 'Jeeva played the role of a photo-journalist in the recently released 'Rangam'. That film was a runaway hit and it is almost reaching the 100-days mark very soon. In our film he is playing the role of a boxer. He gave excellent performance in the character. R Kannan moulded the subject very efficiently. Thaman scored super music. We are planning to launch the audio of the film on or before August 15. We are also making efforts to release the film in September, simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages.'

Tapsee is pairing up with Jeeva in this film as a female lead, while Rahman, Rachana Mourya, Nanda, Santhanam and others are in the cast.

Dialogues are by Sashank Vennelakanti, cinematography is by PG Muthaiah, editing is by VT Vijayan, while the film is being presented by KVV Satyanarayana. Story, screenplay and direction are by R Kannan.

Taapsee is finished

Taapsee is done with Vandaan Vendraan. Jiiva had already finished his portions and only a song with Taapsee remained. It is being shot today at VGP. Once it is done, the unit will be having a little farewell party to celebrate the completion of their film and the effort that has gone into it.

Nanda is the villain in this film and Santhanam will be providing the comic relief. The film was shot in Mumbai, Goa, Turkey, and the jungle belts in the Western Ghats.

All eyes are on Jiiva as he is having a great year career wise. Taapsee's first film in Tamil won the National award and she says that VV will get her the love of audiences.

Bubbly girl and former model Taapsee Pannu is surely a lucky girl. She debuted in Tollywood with K Raghavendar Rao's film starring Manchu Manoj and then signed her next with his brother Manchu Vishnu.

Producers claim it is easy to work with her as she puts in extra efforts to suit her roles. Besides, she learnt the language and now understands how to emote exactly in scenes. Tapasee's favorites Surya and Priyamani! (Written by Me)

Tapasee recently gave in an interview to Behindwoods.com about Vandhan Vendran. She was all in praises for Surya and Priyamani, when asked who her favorites were; and said she is a huge fan of them.. See for your self:

Question: What are the movies that you saw recently?

Tapasee: .....I went to theatre to watch Raktha Charithra as I am a huge fan of Suriya even before I came into Tamil industry. As a north Indian, we only know Suriya as someone who did the Tamil Ghajini and I never imagined that I would one day be working in the same industry as Suriya. I make it a point to see Suriya’s films in theaters.

Question: Who do you find HOT in the industry?

Tapasee: Suriya is the only hottest person in the industry.

Question: Your favorite hero?

Tapasee: By now, you must have guessed that my favorite hero in Tamil is Suriya. Of course there is the super star and Kamal Haasan and I have met them also. But no offense to them, Suriya remains my favorite.

Question: Favorite heroine?

Tapasee: Not only in Tamil but in all the south Indian languages, Priya Mani is my favorite actress. She knows all the languages and she is such a wonderful, natural actor on screen. She delivers an effortless performance which is natural and spontaneous. Others might say the usual common names but I like Priya Mani.

Hope she gets to work with each of them in a couple of films! :)

Tapsee refuses Big B film

Tapsee who is now on a high with two films ready to release in Telugu and a couple in Tamil is on a rejection spree. Sources confirm that this Punjabi girl from Delhi was approached by Puri Jagannath for his upcoming film starring Amitabh Bachchan in Hindi. The movie is titled 'Budda'.

Deeksha Seth and Taapsee were to play roles in this film but Tapsee is believed to have rejected it. The reason-she is not going to act with Amitabh but will be paired next to Sonu Sood.

"She is busy and her dates are crammed now. She will do a film in Hindi only if it is a great script and a seasoned director. In this film, her role is next to Sonu Sood and her rejection has got nothing to do with Amitabh Bachchan" a close aide of the actress informed.

Actresses compete with their own releases

A few heroines in Tollywood are signing so many movies offlate that their movie releases are clashing. This season, Anushka Shetty, Richa Gangopadhyay, Taapsee, Priyamani and Deeksha Seth have multiple releases that are hitting the screens close to the dates of one another. For instance, Anushka's ' Nagavalli just released and her 'Ragada' is all set to hit the screens. Half of the theatres in the state will be screening movies starring Anushka.

Dhanush’s secret gift to Tapsee

Tapsee is the heroine of Dhanush in ‘Aadukalam’. Sources say that when the film was in its final schedule of shooting in Madurai, Tapsee was finding it very uncomfortable at the sets and was finding difficult to communicate with people.

Seeing the discomfort of heroine, as usual the hero came in for rescue. After understanding what Tapsee's problem is, Dhanush gave a secret gift to the heroine after which she was able to feel at ease.

She even claims that now she doesn’t need any one to make her thoughts public because of the gift by Dhanush. So what is that Dhanush gifted that changed the life of Tapsee? It is nothing but a book "How to learn Tamil through English in 30 days". Not knowing the language was her problem.

Now she feels good in Tamil and her career in Tamil is also growing as her confidence. After ‘Aadukalam’ with Dhanush, Tapsee is eyeing on her next big project ‘Vandhan Ventran’ with Jeeva.

It’s official: ‘Aadukalam’ from Pongal

n an apparent bid to put an end to speculation that their next release ‘Aadukalam’ will hit the screens in December itself, Sun Pictures has clarified that the Dhanush-starrer will be a Pongal release.
This decision, according to sources, has been taken due to two reasons. One being the successful running of Sun Pictures’s Superstar Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Endhiran’ even two months after its release. And the other is the good show of the Deepavali release

‘Uthamaputhiran’ which also has Dhanush in the lead role. “These things have made Sun Pictures to release ‘Aadukalam’ for Pongal,” sources add.

Directed by Vettrimaran of ‘Polladhavan’ fame, ‘Aadukalam’ is set in Madurai. “It is a contemporary film which speaks about the lives, lifestyles, dreams and ambition of the people who belong to a sub-cult,” says the director.

Is ‘I Hate Love Storys’ Jeeva’s ‘Vanthaan Ventraan’?

Is Jeeva’s latest film ‘Vanthaan Ventraan’ the remakeof the Bollywood film ‘I Hate love Storys’ starring Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor? Decide for yourselves after reading this.
I Hate Love Storys’ is a romantic comedy, written and directed by a newcomer for Karan Johar. The plot of the film is this. Imran and Sonam meets at a cinema theatre and angels sing in their minds. But Sonam cannot move forward because she was already engaged to one Samir. Later Sonam gets a job to work under the foremost romance director of the film industry. Surprisingly Imran is also working under the same director. There Sonam falls for Imran and when she goes to propose she gets a shock. But Imran was not at fault. Misunderstanding and more misunderstandings develops. At the end did all end well? The Hindi movie was released in July this year.

Do the ‘Vanthaan Ventraan’ stills reveal the story? Costumes are very similar. The attitudes of the lead stars are similar. Their poses also look the same.

Jeeva is extremely good at romantic comedies. He has proved it time and again. With the new comer Tapsee the film will still feel fresh and engaging.
