Anwar music Review :D

Ok, well this is my first Malayalam music review, and its for my favorite actor Prithviraj!! :D The movies music is by Gopi Sundar, the awesome person who did the awesome background music for Thanthonni :D The movie stars Prithviraj and Mamta Mohandas in lead roles.:

Kizhakku Pookkum- Shreya Ghoshal Navin Iyer, Sabari Brothers and Raqueeb Alam: This song, sounds like a girl singing about her guy :D in this case I would say, Mamta talking about Prithvi or a marriage song. The beats are really good, they have a nice Islamic feel( I think they call them Mapilla songs I really don't know sorry :) ) to them :) Shreya is awesome, she pronounces everything perfectly :D Her voice is sweet too :D So are the guys who sing the song , I love when they say "Kalbithi...." The song kind of reminded me of Kannanale from Bombay. I liked the clapping, its so perfect, and also there are jiggles in the background. The song also makes you want to dance :D

Njan- Prithviraj and Mamta Mohandas,Reshmi,Priya,and Asif Akbar: Yes, It is sung by the Lead pair Prithviraj and Mamta Mohandas. Mamta is perfect, since she is a singer by profession also. But, Prithvi is like WOW! also, he does his rap perfectly! :D <3

Kanimma: Shreya Ghoshal and Naresh Iyer:Starts off like, a tapping of a pot kind of sound and Shreya's humming. :) Has a nice, soothing guitar in the background, and Shreya and Naresh's voices add to it :D. Its a very romantic song <3>

Vijnatheeram-Sukhvinder Singh, and Blaaze (rap) : The, with no doubt sounds like a song where somebody is "on the run" . The song is so intense, especially with the rock gutiar and Blaaze's rap. Also, Sukhivinder's voice sounds so aggressive when he sings Vijanatheeram Vidhimoohortham....... :) I can just imagine Prithvi running soo fast :D

Kavitha Pol-Gopi Sundar, Uma A V : This is such a sad song :'(, can tell from the way it begins and the melodramatic singing :( and of course the lyrics "unnai kanadhey unnai kelkadhy......" :(. But wow Uma's voice is something special, really pretty :), Kind of reminds you of Bombay Jayashree, but something different. Gopi Sundar is good too :'( It seems like a song where they are longing to see each other, but can't :'(

Kannimma Neele- Gopi Sundar, Suchitra KK: This song is just basically Kanimma, but with Suchi singing it :) She does an awesome job! :D This one has a more softer side though, the whole song. :) The Guitar is mostly used through out. :) I would say it kind of gives you a "floating in the air" feel. :)

A Hero Will Rise: Gopi Sunder,Navin Iyer, Sethu Thankachan,and Shree Charan: Gives you a feel of the scary type of songs in the beginning, but it gets better :) They use the rockstar guitar again in this one :D Its a pretty short song, sounds background musicish :D Also, sounds like a situational type of song, where something is happening.

Kizhakku- This is just an instrumental version of Kizhakku Pookkam, You really get to observe the instruments used. :)

My Picks: My picks would are Njan, Kizhakku Pookkam and Kanimma(both versions), but my number one would be Njan! :D Gopi Sunder proved himself even better with this album! :D His background music rocked in Thanthonni, and now is album is even more rocking!!! :D

My Rating: 4.5/5 :) Gopi made me his fan with this album :)
