It seems to be the time of big projects in Mollywood. The latest to be added to the list of films like 'Urumy' and 'Christian Brothers' is the desi version of ‘Dracula’ which will made in 3D.
To be produced by Frames Film Company and Cinema Variety, the Malayalam version directed by Roopesh Paul, will use the I-max 3D fusion technology that was recently popularised through the big international hit ‘Avatar’.
To regionalise the horror flick, the spirit of Dracula would enter the body of a forensic surgeon based in Kerala and the movie will follow the turmoil that he creates in people.
'The technical crew and cast lines of the movie will have Indian and foreign artistes. While UK- based cinematographer Antonio Rui Riverio will wield the camera, Sreevalsan J. Menon, will compose the music and songs to the lyrics of K. Jayakumar and Rafeeq Ahmed.
To be completed in a cost of ten crores, the movie will be produced by Preman Ponthen and Sajeev Menon.
