Bhavana with Mammootty

Busy young actor Bhavana, will for the first time come up as Mammootty’s heroine in the new movie ‘Doubles’. But don’t expect this to be a full time role. Bhavana will be in a cameo in ‘Doubles’ who appear in the hero’s dreams as the face of his heroine.

The big reason is that Tapsee, who is Mammukka’s heroine in the movie, will be appearing wearing a Purdah for majority of the portions and so as Mammukkas’ character doesn’t see the actual face of Tapsee, he dreams her as someone who looks like Bhavana.

Though the role is just a cameo, Bhavana is more than thrilled to be with Mammootty, particularly in a song sequence set to music by ‘Subramaniapuram’ fame James Vasanthan. The actress had earlier played Mammukka’s sister in the movie ‘Chronic Bachelor’ which came up almost seven years ago.

'Doubles' is directed by Sohan Seenulal has Nadia Moithu and Mammootty playing non identical twins.

Bhavana gets married!

For the first time ever, Bhavana appeared in a wedding scene as a bride for Kudumbashree Travels.

The film with Jayaram and Bhavana in lead roles, is being directed by debutant Kiran, the director of many TV serials including the super hit comedy serial Ettu Sundarikalum Njanum.

Bhavana seems thrilled after the shoot, where she gets married to Jayaram.

She was looking gorgeous in blue sari, accessories and flowers. She said this is a new experience and a nice rehearsal for her real life wedding some time in the future.

Jayaram who had already acted in many marriage scenes described this one as the most confusing marriage episode.

The story of the movie revolves around the marriage scene. Jayaram's character Aravidan is a Chakyarkutthu artist who hails from a remote village and he has decided that he would marry a girl who knows the art form.

Bhavana, a Nangiar koothu artist has vowed that she would marry only a Koothu artist. Hence the marriage between Aravindan and Aswathy takes place.

The entire village goes to take part in the wedding. They are going by a bus named Kudumbashree Travels.

"As a actress I didn’t achieve anything" :Bhavana.

Now there is no chance for Bhavana in tamil. She was acting in Malayalama nd Telugu films before and now she is acting in kannada films. If we ask “Whether you are getting married ?, she becomes furious. “As a actress I didn’t achieve anything still. This disturbs me a lot. Everybody asks me when i’m going to get married. After i prove or acheive something in film industry only i will get married. If i do marriage before acheive anything that will keep distubed my mind and heart always. That will upset my family members also. I have idea to get married after giving a superhit film only. I have acted in 4 languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Since Malayalam is my mother tongue i didnt face any problem in that. Acting in Tamil and Telugu also i didnt find any difficulty. Now i’m acting in Kannada. I do struggle a lot without knowing the language. ” said so Bhavana.

Jayaram without moustache

The lead actors in Malayalam had been noticed for the extremely different get ups on which they appear on screens. Starting from Mammootty to Jayasuriya, all of the lead stars had been in the forefront in experimenting with different looks. Jayaram had been the one actor who had kept away from making major changes in his looks, for any type of films he had been in the last twenty years.

But for now, Jayaram is attempting a change of looks for his new movie 'Kudumbashree Travels'. The movie will have him as Aravindan, a member of a family full of Koothu artists.

Directed by debutant Kiran, the movie is planned as a nonstop comedy. The movie is narrated amidst a bus travelling between a remote village to the Kochi metro. 'Kudumbashree Travels' will be scripted by Thomas Thoppilkudy famous for many mimics cassettes.

Bhavana is the heroine of this movie which will also have Jagathy Sreekumar, Kottyan Nazeer, K P A V Lalitha, Mamukoya, P Sreekumar, Janaardhanan, and P Sreekumar in important roles.
