'Payyans' is ready

Jayasuriya will start his 2011 with the movie ‘Payyans’. Directed by Leo Thaddhevoos who debuted with 'Pachamarathanalil' the movie will have him as an youngster who is a bit too cool about life. Josy is the name of the character of Jayasuriya who is least disciplined in every aspects of life. ‘Angadi Theru’ heroine Anjali, will debut into Malayalam with the movie which will have Lal and Rohini playing the parents of the lead character.

'Payyans' which is in its final stages of post production will get to theatres this month.

Anjali in Payyans

Anjali, the heroine of Tamil super hit 'Angadi Theru', will land in Mollywood with the new movie 'Payyans'. Jayasuriya will be her hero in the movie which will be directed by Leo Thaddhevoos. Anjali will appear as Seema, a simple modern girl in this movie, who is busy among plenty of projects in Tamil.

Jayasuriya who sports a very new look in the move with a French beard and a small pony tail, acknowledges that it was he who suggested the name of Anjali to the director of the movie. ‘Payyans’ will tell a sensitive story about father-son relationships.

Jayasuriya as an anonymous guy

Jayasuriya who is frequently experimenting with his looks and characters in different films will attempt as a character just referred to as 'He' in its entire course. A young but dangerous guy who may be seen anywhere and everywhere, this ‘He’ is the central figure of the new movie titled as 'Cocktail'. Penned by Shyam Menon, the movie tells about the changes that happens in the life of Ravi and Parvathi, with the entry of this character played by Jayasuriya.

Arun Kumar, the editor of recent Priyadarshan movies will debut as a director with 'Cocktail'. Anoop Menon plays a double role, while Samvrutha Sunil plays the female lead. ‘Cocktail’ includes Suraj Venjaramood, Fahd Fazil, Innocent and Sadiq.

Alphonse Joseph is in charge of the music department while Santosh Varma pens the lyrics.
