'Dookudu' audio likely on Aug. 13

The audio of 'Dookudu', directed by Sreenu Vaitla and jointly produced by Ram Achanta, Gopinath Achanta and Anil Sukara on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment, with Prince Maheshbabu and Samanta in the lead roles is likely to be launched on August 13.

Thaman scored music for the film. The venue for audio release function is yet to be finalised. Shilpa Kala Vedika was tentatively selected for the function.

However, the on-going separate Telangana state agitation, the JAC call for bandh and the disturbances that may occur following the protests are worrying the film unit. The producer sought police protection for conducting the audio release function, following a recent attack by the separate state agitators during the shooting of the film.

'Dhookudu' audio release on Aug 9

Mahesh Babu and Samantha starrer romcom 'Dhookudu' will launch its audio on 9th of August. Srinu Vytla who is known for comic films is directing this project.

S S Thaman has composed music for this album. Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are producing this film on their 14 reels entertainment banner. This movie has been shooting for over eight months now.

"We got to know that there are a few fake songs in the market that are under circulation. They are not from 'Dhookudu'. The original songs of Dhookudu will be released in first week of August. This movie will be released on 24th of August" producer Anil Sunkara informed.

'Dookudu' to be one of the best films in Prince career

Though the shooting is getting delayed due to several reasons, Maheshbabu is most confident that he would bag a hit and return to his form with his forthcoming film 'Dookudu' directed by Sreenu Vaitla.

Let us remind you that the first look posters of 'Dookudu' and a few trailers were released to the media on the occasion of Super Star Krishna's birthday. The film is slated for release in August.

So far, Maheshbabu was mum did not come out in open about the film.

However, he came before the media and spoke about the film for the first time saying, 'This would be one of the best films in my film career and Sreenu Vaitla is projecting me in a novel angle.' Let us wait and watch till the release of the film as to how Sreenu Vaitla unveiled the Prince in 'Dookudu'.

Thaman bags five projects!

Thaman debuted in films as an actor with Shankar's Boys(2003), but later went on to become a prominent music composer in the South!

In his music career spanning less than three years, he has composed music for 10 Tamil films, including the much-acclaimed Eeramand over eight Telugu films, including Kick, Anjaneyulu and Brindavanam.

According to latest reports, the talented music director has five big budget movies in hand: Ravi Teja-Richa Gangopadhyay starrer Mirapakaya, Nagarjuna-Anushka starrer Ragada, Mahesh Babu-Samantha starrer Dookudu, Nara Rohit’s second film and Manoj Manchu-Varun Sandesh's bilingual multi-starrer.

Maheshbabu joins hands with Puri again

A strong talk is making rounds in the Film Nagar that Prince Maheshbabu signed the dotted line for a film under the direction of Puri Jagannath.

It is also learnt that the hero and the director almost finalized a storyline and the director was asked to get the script completely ready before going to sets as Maheshbabu is presently busy with ‘Dookudu’ and the remake of ‘3 Idiots’.

It is worth mentioning here that the combination of Maheshbabu and Puri Jagananth gave a blockbuster like ‘Pokiri’ which created many records in the Telugu film industry in 2006.

As of now, Maheshbabu had just returned from Turkey after completing the first schedule of ‘Dookudu’ directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Anil Sukara, Gopinath Achanta, Ram Achanta on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment with Samanta in the female lead.

The unit is getting ready to leave for Dubai very soon for its second schedule.

After ‘Dookudu’ it is ‘Veta’

Maheshbabu’s comeback film ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ after a gap of two years was proved a dud giving him a shock treatment. After learning a lesson, the Prince started signing films one after the other and had decided to get his films released in a row without a scope for the word gap.

Presently he is busy with ‘Dookudu’ directed by Sreenu Vaitla and the shooting is in progress at Turkey. Samanta is playing the heroine opposite Maheshbabu. The film is slated for release in March 2011.

His next film in the combination of Shankar is ‘3 Idiots’. The film is likely to go to sets in December this year.

But the latest information is that Mahesh also gave a green signal to Linguswamy and the film was said to have been titled ‘Veta’.

However, the film would start rolling only in the middle of 2011 and the director was asked to complete the entire script work. The names of other artistes and technicians are not immediately known.
