Kavya Madhavan's comeback film (after her short-lived 16-month marriage and subsequent divorce)Gaddama is releasing tomorrow (Friday) in a limited number of centres in Kerala. According to sources, the film will be released only in 30 centres.Gaddama, based on a true story, has Kavya playing Aswathy who is forced to go to Saudi Arabia post marriage. She works as a housemaid who is abused and tortured by her Arab employee and family, after forcing her to flee to the desert, she is declared a 'missing person'!
Sreenivasan plays the role of a social worker who strives to help expat workers. If the film works, it would be a sensational comeback for Kavya into mainstream Malayalam cinema.
